Up for your consideration today is a Vintage Bank Safety Deposit Box Metal Insert. This item is in USED condition and does have signs of previous use and/or wear. There are some cosmetic scratches, small dents, and rubbed worn areas, located on the exterior, interior, and sides of the box. The box is made of a type of sheet-style metal, which is solid gray on the exterior and shiny metal patina on the interior. There is a latch-over on one end of the box, which can be locked with a small sized lock. The opposite end of the box has a circular loop-style pull, which was used to pull the metal box insert out of the safe deposit vault in the bank.

The box weighs 1 lb 13.2 ozs, with exterior measurements of 22 inches long, and approximately 5 inches wide. The interior of the box measures 21 inches long and 2 1/2 inches deep. Despite what may be wrong with this box cosmetically, there is still a lot of purpose and use left in this box. This would make a cute little box to store sewing notions or craft supplies in. Also makes a great addition to any vintage era bank collection. Ideal for using, displaying, or collecting. Would make a nice item to use to place wallets or treasures inside and lock up with a lock. Perfect way to make more storage space in an office, sewing room, bedroom, or dorm. A must-have for anyone who is looking for any item like this. Fantastic gift for that someone special who loves items like this that stand out.
