Paperweight (fr. Presse-papiers, from presser - "to press" and papier - "paper") - the name of the items of writing instruments: a writing instrument, a heavy object with which the papers are pressed on the table, preventing them from scattering.
Often paperweights are used not for their intended purpose, but as a decorative element of table decoration. Now paperweights have also become a desirable object for collectors of antiquity of the USSR.
This paperweight was purchased in the USSR in the mid-70s.
A perfect piece for lovers of vintage items. This item will certainly decorate your table and transform your apartment, office. There is a recess for a pen or pencil in the center of the paperweight. Produced in the Soviet Union and has the USSR Quality Mark. I recommend it to lovers of antiquity.
