Beautiful lamp great for bedroom. Measurements without shade 11" with shade 14 1/2" shade is 7" tall it does lose a couple of inches when install on the lamp as it goes over the socket therefore loseing 3 1/2 " in height so instead of 18" tall final height is 14 1/2" ins tall measure from the base to the top of shade .
