.This is an original remote control. There is no programming required. Just put in batteries and it will work right away The remote requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).

If the remote does not immediatily work after you put in new batteries,1st check the directions of the batteries in the battery compartment of the remote control. 2nd try a second set of new alkaline batteries. We recommend Duracell or Eveready. Last try cleaning the little window on the TV where the remote control receiver picks up the signal from the remote control.
