I have here a " NewHampshire " Toll Token ! Now most people would not look twice at this item " BUT " if you look close at this token it has the State of New Hampshire , " State Emblem or Symbol". The Old Man on the Mountain has been part of the State of New Hampshire since the State was formed and joined the Union. It was actually found by a survey crew is 1805 and made very popular from then on .The actual " Old man on the Mountain" was an actual rock formation that could be seen from US Route 93 /3 , Mt. Lincoln , just north of Clarks Trading Post. In 2003 the " Rock " formation on the mountain, fell off , thus the end of the " Old Man on the Mountain and State Symbol. The " Old man " is on the New Hampshire State Quarter as you can see from my scan of coins from my own collection. The first scan is the " Toll Token, made of Brass. The second scan is my State Quarter Collection scan.
I have " 8 " of these tokens as they came from my truck in about 2003 and a Full Roll that have not been opened since I purchased them at a NH Toll booth. I will sell one or all of them, just let me know.
