Spanish Mission Art,Madonna,cant tell what kind of wood it is carved from,it feels heavy for its size and I can see a lot of old worm holes. It appears to have been painted many times in the past, from what I have learned they were painted annually. The Madonna has damage the the back looks like she may have survived a fire. aprox. size 12" by 9"Her facial features are fine and undamaged. |
